GMAP was one of the challenge-setters for this year’s edition of C4SI. We gave the team quite the challenge: we asked them to find an innovative way to communicate the impact of gender and diversity inclusive mine action in communities. We also asked them how GMAP could report on the greater humanitarian benefits of inclusive mine action programmes in the short, medium and long-term.
On November 24, these motivated and hard-working graduate students climbed up on stage to present their answers to the challenges they were given eight weeks back.
The team worked hard, and in a brilliant presentation, introduced us to their innovative visuals as well as their Impact Platform to report on the successes of inclusive mine action programmes. GMAP wishes to congratulate the team on their commitment, their fresh take on our work and their proposed solution!
